Amy Cohen Heller became Of Counsel to the firm in 2016. Amy is a business-focused Intellectual Property Attorney with significant expertise in all aspects of trademark law, including trademark clearance, prosecution, counseling, enforcement and trademark portfolio management of domestic and international portfolios as well as copyright and licensing issues. Amy helps business owners, companies and legal counsel address legal issues related to the protection of company names and brands.. Through her professional experience as in-house Trademark Counsel for Fortune 500 corporations including Hartmarx Corporation, Sears, Roebuck & Co. and JohnsonDiversey Inc. and with national law firms including Leydig Voit & Mayer and, most recently, Schiff Hardin, Amy understands the roles of both in‐house counsel and outside counsel. She brings that unique perspective to successfully resolve these types of issues for her clients.
